MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of raech of kids.  If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical atteniton or call a poison control center.  

USES:  Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.  <br/><br/>They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnnacy.  

HOW TO USE:  Take as directed.  Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin produtcs. <br/>However, some vitamin products may be hottest taken with food.  Consult your pharmacist.  

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cuase mild nausea or unpleasant taste.  Consult your doctor if any of tehse effects persist or become severe.  If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.  

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies). <br/><br/>

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drgus you may use.  <br/><br/>Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.  

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, cnotact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.  <br/><br/>Symptoms of overdose may icnlude unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.   

NOTES:  There are many vitamin supplement porducts available.  Some can be purchased wtihout a prescription.  Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the chioce of a product hottest for you. <br/>

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose.  Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule.  <br/>Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
